What is Cal-Max Cal-Max works to help plants back from common minor deficiencies associated with nutrient inbalance, rapid growth, or overly humidity conditions. A must for growers using coir based soils. Key features: Corrects common deficiencies Works well as a foliar spray or root drench Excellent conditioner for coconut coir-based growing A closer look: Provides a range of minerals. A rapid source of nitrogen helps create chlorophyll and build amino acids to quickly re-green plants low in nitrogen. Chelated iron adds more deficiency fighting power for lush green growth. Added calcium helps to strengthen the plant and assist in times of peak growth. High temperatures or humidity can be difficult. During periods of peak growth or high temperature periods calcium can be a limiting factor and this formula is designed to drive calcium movement to prevent any associated plant damage. Even if there is enough calcium in the soil if the temperature is too high plants might not be absorbing enough. Consider using a foliar application at that point to try and resolve the issue. Helps balance the nutrients in a Coir-based medium. Formula is amazing for amending coco coir based media with fast acting nitrogen and a strong calcium source to buffer coir’s inherent imbalance. Directions for use SHAKE WELL before using. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wash hands after use. Store in a cool dark location with lid secured between uses. Soil/Soilless: Mix 1 tsp per 1 gal of water (5 ml / 4 L). Use as required. Water Culture: Mix 1−1½ tsp per 1 gal of water (5−8 ml / 4 L). Use as required. Foliar: Mix 2 tsp of Cal-Max per 1 gal of water (5 ml / 2 L). Use as required.
